    E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

I showed this to my daughter who is just about the same age as when I saw it for (and I havent seen it since) and she said she did not like it but was quiet the entire movie, not fiddling with her Ipad and asking questions so I think she really did enjoy it.

Me? Not so much. It is a glorious piece of filmmaking but I did find most of the characters, including E.T. quite annoying and the setting really made me want to rewatch Poltergeist.

Well, that was two and a half hours of bloated, uninspired fanservice that I will never get back.

Il notti del terrore aka Burial ground is my all time favorite go to movie when everything else fail, I watch it at least once a year, it has that level of comfort. I'm not even going to bother to write a review this time, just tell you a little story.

Everyone who has seen the movie knows the effigy that is Peter Bark, the adult male with the horrendous haircut that plays the incestous Michael. You'll never forget him…

  • Rodan

I always forget that Rodan is a quite serious movie, lots of people die on screen and I accuse the goofier later guest appearances of being responsible of that. No, this is more in the tone of the original Gojira (though nowhere near as bleak) but it compensates with an ending that is just so heartachingly sad. And some really good sfx.
