Look, I don't want to say the word, 'pretentious', but hey I'm gonna.
Slightly disappointed. Nearly fell asleep twice. The whole Everyman audience erupted into a sigh of relief when it ended, so perhaps it was something about a Sunday evening in the posh end of Bristol.
I absolutely loved the cinematography and the green, all the green! And I need a CGI 🦊 in my life. Vikander’s speech about lust and love was definitely the highlight.
One scene in particular brought me right back to that cushion in On Chesil Beach...
I just need more substance, pace and character motivation in my films, and I am not apologising for that.
{What’s annoying is that I know some people will say, “you just don’t get it” and I’ll be like “STFU”.}
