David Fincher delivers in this stylish and dark thriller based on the outstanding novel. Affleck and Pike are perfectly cast in these roles and led a strong cast.
The musical score here is also a stand out, moving from dreamy and gentle in the romantic flashbacks to the brooding and suspenseful numbers that follow the mystery. Definitely one of the best films of the year for me.
