I was honestly thinking of the best way to joke about my experience with this but I can’t, to be honest.

Call Me By Your Name captures the essence of what it’s like to be young and in love.

Mainly that it is confusing and frustrating as hell.

The last shot is a long take and it was such a slow burn into my core. Because I know what it’s like to be in that infatuation period.
It really sucks.

And I nearly had an emotional breakdown thinking about it on the drive home.

Luca Guadagnino just grabbed my heart and squeezed it until it bled. I applaud that.

(I am still not looking forward to the Suspiria remake though :P)
