Nolan trying his best to make his own 007 film. His obsession with time and how it can be perceived through the medium of film now at the forefront as our secret agent man operates both forwards and backwards through time. It's just a shame or rather hilarious to see him fail at making something cool. The dialogue is absolutely cringeworthy. And I do mean it sincerely. The dialogue sounds like a young teenage boy wrote it. Like he's trying…
A great miniseries that is its best when recreating actual events. All the scenes involving Ulana Khomyuk for example, were just annoying. She exists solely as a character to tell others "I told you so." Still really enjoyed this. The cinematography, special effects, and the sound were great. Some of the visuals were great recreations of the actual events. The biorobot scene being really exceptional for instance. The score is a great blend of industrial, dark ambient, and drone. Would really recommend this but just don't go in expecting something super accurate like I did.
