I’m very forgiving of the flaws in this one. I’m just compelled to adore it. Yes, a big part of my love for it is inspired by the introduction of the hockey mask, but also the last 20 minutes are just epic slasher fun. Part 6 comes very close but this one is my favorite of the franchise and an easy go-to watch if I’m in the mood for Jason. Oh, and that theme music BANGS.
Besides being my favorite, it made my Top 100 Films of All Time at 77.
