Is this cinematic brilliance? No, but I am for any film that promotes something that is a reality of life today, such as blended families. This film might be predictable, but there’s heart to it.
I am for any film that explores our weird relationship with death, but END GAME barely scratches the surface on the subject.
I truly respect the familes and people who were willing to be a part of this documentary, and the medical practitioners who are working to help make end of life transitions comfortable for patients. Through this film they allowed us to be witness to very private decisions and experiences, but I think the filmmakers fell short and exposed these situations instead of exploring them.
