Letterboxd — Your life in film

aside from a few pacing issues and atrocious cgi, i must say that i found this movie quite enjoyable. it kinda gets boring at the times, but there are quite a few moments that make up for it. absolutely hated the ending tho.

movies like this are the reason why i'm obsessed with 2000s horror, it's just so much fun! maggie was my favorite character in the entire movie and i'm so glad she survived.

there's just something about the scenes in horror movies where final girls smash villains' heads repeatedly that can be so personal

this was alright, there were definitely a few intense moments and although there wasn't enough gore or violence shown on screen, it still kept me on the edge of the seat for most of the time and i enjoyed it. but literally what the fuck was that ending... it pissed me off so much

this honestly wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. the best part of the whole movie were definitely kills, i loved the gore and that final act was genuinely scary; also that clown design was awesome, it was actually really terrifying

asami did nothing wrong

i thought this was going to suck, but i honestly really enjoyed it! yeah, it has its issues, but it has pretty decent performances, great wlw representation and i found the final act to be really fun! my only issue with this movie is the fact that they made illyana racist and whitewashed roberto... what was the reason? overall, whilst it's not great, i honestly liked it and it kept me entertained throughout most of its runtime.
