Another rewatch with my cousins. At first I found myself not quite enjoying this one as much as I have in the past because its just so stupid. Then, I got to thinking: this movie really works BECAUSE its stupid. Taika Waititi knew exactly what he was making and embraced the stupidity. Its so enjoyable and loud and funny, you can't really hate it!
On a side note, I watched an interview recently where Taika Waititi says he never spends less than six years making a project, from the time he starts writing the script to the time it takes to release it. I wonder if that was the case for Thor: Ragnarok?
