ahhh this made me cry so much. it became an instant favorite. it's fresh, honest, and i personally related to it a lot, i saw so much of myself in this film (especially being someone from the bay area). it also paints a picture of a mother-daughter relationship that i think a lot of women can relate to, along with having several other small subplots woven in that are nicely tied up by the end of the film.
