really captures the feeling of always looking behind your back and the paranoia of not knowing whether they are following you or not. it’s super effective and creepy. and the fall vibes are immaculate in this movie.
in short, don’t have sex🥵
although the film could've benefited from more visual style and directional flair to set it apart from other courtroom dramas, it absolutely makes up for it by telling such an important story in such a compelling way. I really found this film so engaging with incredible performances across the board, and obviously this movie is timely as fuck. and I'm a sucker for sorkin scripts so of course this was entertaining for me. I can't believe I never learned about…
It’s good - Shallow is definitely the highlight as well as the ending. The two leads are fantastic, but this is way overhyped, sorry. I liked it but it just felt like a lesser version of La La Land. The first act was amazing, but it started to lose me in the second half. It turned into a bit of a mess. My most anticipated movie of the year, damn... I'm so sad right now. I wanted to love this. I’ll probably see it again, I feel like I maybe missed something here.
