Hen Bide’s review published on Letterboxd:
Squanders a good premise and a decently cute/good-vibes/sliiightly prickly energy by quickly turning into an utterly generic indie crime film with kidnappings and faceoffs and quirky henchmen and all that boring bullshit that just happens to feature a Chinese grandma as its passive, effectively anonymous protagonist. I.e., most of what is unique about the premise and character is gradually stripped out by the incredibly familiar and blandly executed mechanics of the story. Also this is a worthless nitpick but nothing the gangs do in this movie makes ANY sense. Also where'd Big Pong go!!! Their relationship was like the best part of the movie?? I guess??
