American Psycho 2000
this might be one of the few instances (see also: fight club) when i prefer the film to the book. it remains hilarious to me how many sigma grindset boys completely miss the fact that this movie is blatant satire. bale's performance lives rent-free in my mind. this movie has remained so engrained in discourse for so long for a reason, and not just its over-the-top ultra-violence.
