Evan Kraft’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm sorry to anyone who thinks I'm wrong, but I liked this one better than the first. The first kind of bored me with an oddly paced slasher that had this super long final chase that I felt was unnecessary.
This movie still had a longer chase scene but I actually felt suspense. It actually hooked me in the end. While there wasn't really a big twist, the story still held up fine.
The deaths were so mich more brutal and I enjoyed that. What I also enjoyed was that there wasn't unnecessary nudity. When I watch a film like Friday the 13th, there's just nudity for nudity sake. This series (so far) doesn't have that.
All in all this is a pretty good horror flick for your halloween goodness month.
