Collin Taylor’s review published on Letterboxd:
I want you flat on your back. Helpless, tender, with only me to help. And then I want you strong again. You're not going to die. You might wish you're going to die, but you're not going to. You need to settle down a little.
I needed that second watch. A quiet theater without some guy in the back breathing like a nuke bomb. Man, this movie is brilliant. It’s elegeant and haunting all at once. The ending is shocking and surreal, but it also makes so much sense in the long run. This film is beautifully directed and shot, superbly acted, subtly manipulative, PTA is a pure genius. Every shot has a slight eloquence and meaning to it. The score by Jonny Greenwood is absolutely stunning while also guiding us through Woodcock’s mind in audio. This film is absolutely incredible. I’m so happy the Academy decided not to ignore it.
