Steve Dickson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really need to watch this again. I got into the cinema just as this started. I sat right at the front like I usually do. It was quite busy but no one was near and the film started. Then disaster struck. A couple turned up late and sat behind. The seats were getting kicked, chatting was going on, popcorn being chewed open mouthed, feet hanging over the seat beside me etc. I spent most of my time concentrating on these two plonkers and telling myself to not lose my temper. Last time I lost my temper at the cinema was a bad moment but that’s a story for another day! I managed to keep cool, I thought about moving but it was fairly busy. I gave up before the end and left.
I saw most of it and enjoyed what I saw although I need to see it in a better frame of mind. This rating will go up next time I’m sure. This was more of a vent for a poor cinema visit. I’m sure many can sympathise! I’ve got one of those limitless cinema cards so it’s no big deal but..... how hard is it to go to the cinema and sit quietly and enjoy a film. It’s not difficult is it!!
