Never really liked the original although I should give it another go at some point. I really enjoyed most of this new one. It had the weirdness of dune, the bat shit craziness of Mother! and the odd ballet-ness of black swan. It was really well shot and edited with some nice retro flourishes. I don’t like seeing bone breaks so I found those bits a bit tough going. It had a good slow pace and I like the fact they swing for the fences. It was an entertaining and fairly wild film. Good stuff.
