Enjoyed it but can’t help but feel it gets lost in amongst it’s frenetic mood. There’s a great message of overcoming tragedy in here that almost feels... unfulfilled. Rather than focusing on a clear cut plot it chooses to instead aimlessly follow its characters around which for me just didn’t really work. Portman is brilliant and that opening sequence was hauntingly impeccable which makes my disappointment in the outcome of it all that much harder to swallow.
