Owen’s review published on Letterboxd:
Was going to keep it at 4.5 stars, but ultimately decided to bump it up to 5. I questioned if it was that ending line, or the cover of "Dreams" that plays over the credits, but realized that there's just something that Kar-Wai does here that can never, ever be replicated. The man does something so extraordinary with his characters and their interactions, an eccentric romanticism of sorts. Aching sighs of loneliness brought together by the brush of a shoulder. Stunning.
