My 1000th review!
Over the past two days, I've loved getting to know Jesse and Céline in the brief moments I've spent with the two characters. They have a charming, honest, and beautiful relationship with intellectual conversation at its core. It's really powerful and profound despite its simplicity. The forty-minute-or-so argument is really what makes this film powerful. It is a beautiful film and I'm glad to have finished one of the greatest film series ever. Remarkable in every way.
Also, I think the movie Céline talks about with Pompeii in it is Rossellini's Journey to Italy.
