What a fun, heartwarming, and well-made film. This one hadn’t originally connected with me the same as other Wes Anderson films, but I definitely got something new out of it upon this rewatch, which is really something I appreciate about his work. There’s such a strongly written and interesting family dynamic at the heart of this movie that sets it apart to me for sure. Gotta love when people learn to change for the better. It’s hilarious while also expertly balancing that with effectively moving and dramatic moments.
Had a very nice time watching!
