Everything about this film was NEAT and CLEAN-CUT. For some reason I anticipated the narrative to be passive and in the background. I loved the chemistry between all the characters and that the story was always at the forefront. Very endearing, melancholic and visually stunning.
The singing puts almost any other musical to shame. This seems so effortless and it’s honestly too cool. It’s conversational but these are all very memorable ‘songs’?
Loved it. It has a great ending, its very cohesive and its a wonderful experience in retrospect. Wish I could have caught a screening of this for my first watch.
