Found Footage brilliance here. Different stories from around the world, primarily set in the 80's capturing various supernatural phenomena on tape. The episodes are really short, yet still grabbed my attention. It feels like the Twilight Zone meets Black Mirror, but still completely original in both concept/execution... My favorite episode has got to be 'The Witch'. Which one was your favorite?

A video series shot in the form of a mockumentary, called 'Senritsu Kaiki File Kowasugi!’ — While you can only stream these in Japan; I was lucky & caught the ‘Final Chapter’ (File-07) on YouTube before it was eventually taken offline. This (parallel) universe created by Kôji Shiraishi (Noroi) is extremely unique in concept and just the kind of ‘weirdness’ that I like.

Shouldn't come to me for a fair assessment on this. It was a fiver before I even turned it on. But what I do like so much about the franchise though is how V/H/S always seems to take on ambitious storyline approaches (as of late diving into more ancient lore, which I like) and embracing certain unique technical aspects (for instance, Dreamkill's "ghost camera" perspective). At the end of the day, I just wanna see them put out 85 more of these.

Just coming back from seeing this at my town’s local theater and was really pumped to see my contribution up on the big screen (main title design) — but let’s be real… Robbie, Scott, Angela, Michelle & Leslie all stole the show!!! So proud!

    Evil Dead Rise

I feel like with most possession movies, there’s a missed opportunity when it comes to making the possessor scary. And to me, what makes a possessor scary is there needs to be a healthy balance between showcasing the objective of wanting to taunt, versus wanting to kill. And because most of these types of movies like this to solely linger in the taunting realm, it’s difficult for me to find possession movies enjoyable, or scary for that matter…
    However, I…
