    The Bromberg Sisters are bonafide icons within the field of animation.  They not only laid the groundwork for what would become one of the greatest animation studios to ever exist in Soymultzfilm, but they did immeasurable good in paving the way for women in animation

    Ahh, now this is more like it.

    By far & away the better of the two completely random animated childrens xMas shorts helmed by folks that worked on Heavy Metal; the first being Jack Stokes’s uncomfortable, paedo-y Santa’s Special Delivery, which I reviewed a couple of days ago

    It makes sense that this is the better of the two, because Gerald Potterson handles this one, and he was one of the more singular & unique voices in Canadian animation.

    It’s been quite a long while since this ancient soul has experienced something so magnificently beautiful

    Moon Man is the all the best parts of my non-cathartic childhood dreamstates, crammed tastefully into an hour & a half of unsullied, multicoloured euphoria

    Perfection.  Shamefully underrated & ignored.  I don’t trust anyone who has anything negative to say about this ode to graceful, moonlit innocence, but I would sincerely hope…
