fucking awesome. hideaki anno’s direction is incredible! this movie is quick, it has awesome music, and godzilla is scary as hell. it really makes you sympathize with and root for humanity, which in a godzilla movie is surprisingly rare. i loved all of the evangelion music too as a huge fan of that franchise. the english dub was even really good!! this movie is  equal parts exciting and harrowing
