Suspiria ★★★★

Are all dance schools full of incredibly hot, yet totally psycho people?

I was not entirely sure what to expect with Suspiria and having not seen the 1977 original didn't really have a point of reference other than it being a member of the 'dance horror' sub-genre with it's cellmate, Black Swan.

While I found the lighting a little distracting and overly dark in places, the film was generally gorgeous, eery and sensuous. Dakota Johnson was surprisingly convincing, with some pretty solid acting performances from the rest of the cast.

Except for Tilda Swinton. She's a 10. Always a 10.
