Mathew Proctor’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film was fucking amazing.
I have no idea why critics are losing their shit over this film, it was superb, by far the best comic book film ever made, I'm sorry Marvel but holy shit, move out the way, if Justice League is remotely as good as this, DC will be my favourite by far. This film blew me away, Ben Affleck firstly was a god send, he was the best batman and the best bruce wayne we've ever seen on the screen, Henry Cavill has grew insanely as an actor, Amy Adams is always good so props to her once again, Gal Gadot beyond impressed me, and Jesse Eisenberg was phenomenal, I have no idea how people are hating on him. Ben Affleck was obviously the greatest thing to happen to this movie, I had no doubts of him and he still exceeded my expectations. The end act was so damn good too, Batman v Superman fight was the greatest fight we've ever seen in cinema and the finale doomsday battle was unbelievable, I didn't have a single problem with this film, maybe the cameos of the justice league felt a little lazy but that's not enough for me to dislike this film, Synder has created a masterpiece and made me fall even deeper in love with him. I'm shocked more people didn't enjoy it as much as I did.
