The Spork Guy’s review published on Letterboxd:
2013's biggest Oscar snub is much more than the annual Coen brother's shoe in for a good time. Inside Llewyn Davis is the physical embodiment of folk music's effect on the human condition. Every trope and characteristic of the folk song's subject is brilliantly personified on screen, in not only Llewyn Davis(Oscar Isaac), but in the entire world he inhabits, including the harsh trails it puts him through. In addition, this film and The Great Gatsby officially prove that no one can play a total bitch quite like Carrie Mulligan.
