Trevor Allen’s review published on Letterboxd:
"I can't seem to face up to the facts,
I'm tense and nervous - can't relax"
I have no idea what keeps drawing me back to this film. It might be David Byrne's wonderous stage presence, the masterful music, or Demme's cinematic deliver of one of the best concert films ever. It just makes me really happy. I've recently been in multiple bouts of depression - it normally happens this time of year- so, I normally watch a lot of my favorite films this time of year. This is, by far, the ultimate feel good film. No plot, just amazing people coming together to deliver an expirience, and it brings the biggest fucking smile to my face every time. It makes me so happy to be alive. It will never not be perfect
