Shinkai’s best since Your Name. I’m devastated that this isn’t playing in IMAX where I live because it is entirely deserving of that treatment. If you liked any of Shinkai’s previous films or just want to see a staggeringly beautiful animated fantasy epic, you have gotta check this out in theaters. Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine 2015
We started watching this in my broadcast management class and I dunno if we’re gonna finish it but what we saw was super interesting. Really cool doc that deconstructs (and perhaps also reconstructs) the mythos around Jobs. Gonna have to see more from this director after this.

Star Wars: Visions – The Village Bride 2021
Oh man. Definitely my favorite one so far. I could watch a whole show like this. Incredible how in so little time, it’s evident that it gets Star Wars. The ending was such a surge of emotion. Absolutely beautiful.
