I went into this knowing that it wouldn't be as amazing as the original Suspiria, but it ended up being better than I thought. It's less of a remake and more of a reimagining as the storyline definitely changes but this does aid in the creativity of the film. The cinematography is amazing and Dakota Johnson does an amazing job as Suzy Bannion. I wasn't a huge fan of the music as there are parts where Thom Yorke sounds more like Sufjan Stevens and it definitely distracts from the film. Definitely worth seeing once or twice in theaters.
