The Last Black Man in San Francisco

The Last Black Man in San Francisco ★★★★½

You know there's no place like home.

A really compelling story about identity, friendship and family, gentrification, and trying to find your place in a city that is no longer what it once was. Johnathan Majors' performance was absolutely amazing and had me in tears during the third act. The score and cinematography are amazing and while the first act felt a bit slower compared to the rest of the film, this truly shines. Cannot wait to rewatch.
