Good but not great, Bergman's The Seventh Seal is more profound in concept than in practice.

I'd say it's more from a technical, film-editing point of view, that this film missed the target for me, and while I certainly loved elements of it, especially the horror elements, it seemed a little confused and wandering, losing my engagement past its genuinely brilliant premise. Hoping this will grow on me with time, but for now, I think it's more fun to discuss than to experience.
