Thomas G’s review published on Letterboxd:
I watched this a lot as a tiny kid on VHS and, watching tonight for the first time in 20 years, the crisp saturated look of the 2008 remaster was pretty jarring. There are pros and cons to a recoloring of something iconic, but the positive upside here is you really see the line work of the tremendously beautiful hand drawn animation. This held up pretty well for me, but I could truly mute the movie and just luxuriate in the compositions.
Also Prince Philip is a dipshit and Aurora should date the mandolin boy who gets fucked up on red wine and falls asleep under the table.
