Quickie Review/Remark #1
I love the fact that I was well aware of Lucy Boynton (and her awesome presence) way before the rest of my family loved her in Bohemian Rhapsody. Anyways watch this, the superior movie of the two, whenever you can. It rocks.
Perhaps the meatiest of the series in terms of plot, clocking in at a hour and a half, The Dead Man Who Killed proves to be the definitive second act in the series. With Fandor taking center stage this time, we see Fantômas kill a young artist and use his body (specifically his hands and fingerprints to commit his usual crimes and fool the police in chasing a dead man). Scavenger Hunt #54 - September 2019
Sissy Spacek has to have some of the scariest eyes in movie history. Terrific performance with the impending sense dread building towards the horrorfying climax. Overall a clear step above the 2013 version and a chilling scary movie in it's own right, Carrie is worth all the praise.
