I expected one of the worst MCU movies. Luckily it wasn't, just to make that sure.
I don't really know where to start, so I'll just writing about the characters now. Because I can. I really liked Samuel L Jackson/Fury in this one, he was nowhere near as cringy as I thought because of the trailer. Goose wasn't either. Brie Larson/Cpt Marvel was pretty good too but not too groundbreaking.
The cinematography was fine, the score really good.
The story was, just like in most of the MCU movies, pretty slow in its second act and even bored me sometimes. The beginning was pretty interesting and the ending was very strong. Also I loved how Marvel handled the antagonists here.
Even most of the jokes worked out. That happens... rarely.
The only thing besides the fact that the second act was really slow that annoyed me was, that the movie could've taken place at any time. You really don't realize that this movie takes place in the 90s, but to be honest, I didn't really care in the first place.
Yeah, I'm really surprised how much I liked this movie.
