Timcop’s review published on Letterboxd:
Interestingly, Sam Raimi and Danny Elfman were both involved in A SIMPLE PLAN and now have teamed up again for this movie BUT THE RESULTS ARE VERY DIFFERENT THIS TIME. I'm not sure who the audience for this is, seeing as how it's pretty cheesy sometimes and seems like it's for kids, while other times it's scary as hell. Half the time I thought Mila Kunis was great and the other half I wondered if she even knew how to act. Franco's okay, but only okay. Once again Rachel Weisz is the best thing in the thing she's in.
