The Holy Mountain 1973
A lot of absurd/surreal/arthouse fils seem pretentious to me, so I avoid them. I prefer movies that know what they are and are comfortable in their own skin. I always felt like Jodorowsky‘s movies were different though. Outlaw Vern’s review back in 2007 or so piqued my interest, and so did the images on Blu-ray cases and stuff.

DEMONS 2 plays its premise all the way to the hilt. Then it pulls out the sword and stabs it back in, all the way back up to the hilt, because that’s the best way to kill a weird goblin that hatched out of the corpse of a six-year-old boy.
