I’m hopelessly in love with the movies
I'll use this to review the show.
Definitely had a couple of filler-feeling episodes and I'm not sure the Crow side of things fit as well into Alina's storyline, but overall I really liked this show! The world building was great, the visual effects were fantastic and I enjoyed the story. It made the "chosen one was prophesied!!” shtick and made it its own by having non-believers, zealots and mystery. And also the fact that they weren't even sure such…
It’s gorgeous. One of the most striking and realistic horror movies I’ve seen, but also quite haunting. Instead of making someone with mental illness the horror, it makes the mental illness the horror. Not communicating with your spouse, crippling amounts of debt, alienation of friends and uncertainty of the future are the demons here. Fascinating.
Edit: was just thinking about how this is a retelling of the Noah story from the Bible.
