The Royal Tenenbaums 2001

Loved the movie. I have two specific (kinda related) points to make about it:
1. The soundtrack was phenomenal
2. The scene with the Elliott Smith song (where Richie attempts suicide) hit too hard, as I feel that the sadness lingered too long after the scene which lead to some bits after it that were supposed to be fun a bit less so (probably just me though)
Morbius 2022

Bad pacing with an abrupt ending. Shaky cam so bad that action scenes were indiscernible. A villain without much of a motive and characters you don’t really care about. About what I expected and a fitting end to Month-bius.

Great film + how can you not love Jeffrey Wright. It’s also very good at following it’s own logic, easily elevating it above countless other superhero films despite the risk it took in being one of the darkest, grittiest superhero films of all time.
