Emancipation, a 2022 film directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Will Smith as Whipped Peter. This film has been on my radar since it’s 1, it’s Antoine Fuqua, and 2 it’s obviously Will Smith in his comeback role after well the slap. Antoine Fuqua has always been an interesting director for me. I know he can choreograph great action scenes but can he handle such a sensitive topic here?
