I’ve never seen a film that knows how it feels to realise that you have feelings for someone so well.
The first time you know and the self doubt that comes with it.
You try to deflect their attention onto someone else, as to suppress your own feeling.
You deny the possibility.
And then you accept the fact, and you have a absolutely no idea what to do.
“Is it better to speak or to die?”
Elio decides that it’s better to speak.
What ensues is one of my favourite on sceeen romances of all time.
