Jacob’s review published on Letterboxd:
There's this old Ronald McDonald cartoon I used to have on VHS (I'm not gonna lie I know exactly where it is right now). The plot didn't really make sense and the soundtrack was kind of wild and the cuts were really frequent and the whole thing sort of felt like a fever dream on acid played back at 1.5x speed. But it was funny and ridiculous and overall very entertaining, even if it wasn't very good. Just because it wasn't good doesn't mean it wasn't fun and it also doesn't mean I didn't watch it literally dozens of times over the course of my child/adulthood.
I forgot where this analogy was going but I'm almost positive it had something to do with the fact that Nicole Kidman is taller than Ewan McGregor and how hilarious that is to me.
