The way they handled that death was just unacceptable. The direction they took with that death’s consequences and how it “motivated” the main character had me ripping my hair out.
Haven’t seen this since it’s release back in 2014. I watched both this and Fincher’s dragon tattoo for their second times today and disliked them both more this viewing. Maybe it’s because they’re both pretty incredible mysteries that will always suffer on repeat viewings, and my first viewings of these films will always be treasured because fincher just makes great movies. Unfortunately I didn’t feel as much watching this film than from what I remember feeling back in 2014. Idk.…
How and why can people just not sit still and shut the fuck up for 90 MINUTES?!? Don’t get me wrong my attention span is shit and I’ve usually gotta always be moving around but I mean you’re in the movie theater! Like at least TRY to not be so disturbing.
I think this film will benefit from more spaced out viewings.
