Thank you, Wan, for bringing this R rated masterpiece on big screen when movies are either stale or anti-climactic, but I just have to admit that third act (or final act, call it however you want) was WAY too much even for my standards and I fucking adore horrors. That doesn't mean film isn't good btw, it's amazing, but then again I kinda get it why people call it silly or stupid - it just won't work for everyone. James Wan could pull a sequel here since it definitely has place for it and there were some teasers here and there. That's only if the movie earns enough money.

To conclude my thinkpiece - while I fucking loved this pseudo-giallo of 21st century, Malignant is definitely not for everyone and I understand why people think it's terrible, but please try not to read reviews before viewing the movie. It's not worth the headache.
