An excellent send off for the Daniel Craig era of James Bond. Terrific cast, outstanding action and a strong emotional center. Won’t say anymore here, so for now just going to leave it at this… nobody does it better!

A visual feast as well as an appropriately atmospheric horror film. It pays homage to the original film without being beholden to it either. It achieves what the 2018 Halloween film did but takes it a step further by expanding on the mythology of it’s titular character. Centered by electric performances by Teyonah Parris and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, this film is a must see.

Absolutely awful. Shocker, I know, but even I was taken aback by just how awful. There’s way too much emphasis on the human characters, who are written poorly. Not to mention that Chloe Grace Moretz and Michael Pena forgot how to act. The animation is integrated nicely, but it’s a waste because for a “Tom & Jerry Movie” there’s very little of them in it and even less of their rivalry that makes their best stories pop. I didn’t pay extra for it, yet somehow, I still want a refund.

An atmospheric and near-flawless heist film with true pathos and stakes. Most heist films are breezy and fun affairs and, while I live those, it’s truly refreshing to see a heist film that is as dark as this one. It stars Marilyn Monroe in a small role that proved to be her breakout role. Of the main players Sam Jaffe is a standout as "Doc" Erwin Riedenschneider and Sterling Hayden as Dix Handley proves to be the unexpected heart of the story. One of John Huston’s finest.
