Tony the Terror😼🏳️🌈’s review published on Letterboxd:
Based on the preview and word of mouth, I was pretty sure I would enjoy this and I was right! It’s really a great time and refreshingly short which is something I really find myself factoring in as movie lengths just keep spiraling further out of control mostly due to self indulgent directors.
Anyway, this was smart, super bloody, funny, and somewhat unexpected. I mean I literally only knew what the preview showed and peers being like “dude you must see it” so there were elements of the story that I didn’t know about which just added to my viewing pleasure.
Also, and I think by now that this really goes without saying, but I’m gonna say it anyway! Samara Weaving is just fucking fabulous in every way. She can do horror and comedy with the same incredible amount of talent and I’m sure we are only beginning to see the heights she can reach.
And of course Andie MacDowell is a legend obvs.
