25th anniversary showing at the theater! Really glad I finally got to see this on the big screen. Itβs the first horror movie I distinctly remember seeing at a very young age, and itβs the one that corrupted me into a horror-worshipping, Halloween-loving freak as a toddler! π€ Just a couple weeks ago when I was hanging out with my mom reminiscing and trying to pick a movie for one of our movie nights together, she said to me βremember when I accidentally let you watch Scream when you were 3 or 4 because I thought you were sleeping when we put it on? Is that why you spend all your money on horror movie DVDs?β First of all - wig. But then I had to correct her and remind her that they're ****Blu-rays**** MOM. Sheesh. ππ She's always been super supportive of my love for all things spooky though, being an avid Stephen King fan herself, and I think I was Ghostface for Halloween every year from 5-10 years old lol. This movie just brings back lots of cozy childhood Halloween memories and I love it for that. Thanks, Wes. π€πͺπ±
