21. On September 21, 2012, House at the End of the Street was released. Today we will watch a movie with the word “house” in the title and it cannot be a House movie or sequel.
This was a really good, atmospheric, nightmarish giallo. As a rule, I love movies with an insane artist who goes on a murderous rampage (i.e. The Driller Killer, Color Me Blood Red) because I can totally identify with them as a painter, so this was right up my alley. I watched it on YouTube though, so the audio and picture quality were pretty poor, but I still really enjoyed it. I’ll need to get a copy of the OOP DVD, unless someone decides to release it on Blu-ray. Recommended.
