Vietcong’s review published on Letterboxd:
King Kong was probably my favorite movie as a kid. I still love it to death, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. It's undeniably a special effects masterpiece, and O'Brien's work amazes me more and more each time I watch this. But I have to say, it's been a while since I've seen it and I remembered it being a little better than this. The acting is just... Well, it's not very good, I'll put it that way. Still, looking past that and taking into account this was made in the 1930s, this is just a great movie and you can tell everybody working on it really loved the shit out of it. This is a film that everyone in the world should see.
